The hot tub is achieved using marine-grade aluminum for the tub section along with red cedar, while also featuring raw brass detail. The unit is capable of being easily assembled in about 10-minutes and only needs to be filled with water before utilizing fallen branches or twigs as fuel to stoke a fire and heat up the tub. The Goodland Wood Burning Hot Tub has a single-person construction and is available now for preorder for the next batch of units that are expected to be available in January or February 2022. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Wood Burning Hot Tubs:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore sustainable and eco-friendly materials to create more durable and easy-to-assemble wood burning hot tubs. - **Minimalist Outdoor Fixtures:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing outdoor fixtures with minimalistic features that are also functional and user-friendly. - **DIY Fire-powered Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop more fire-powered products that can be easily assembled and operated using sustainable fuel sources. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Recreation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create affordable and eco-friendly outdoor recreational products that people can use to explore nature and bring comfort to their outdoor experiences. - **Sustainable Materials:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop new sustainable materials to use in outdoor products that can withstand harsh weather conditions and are durable enough to last for a long time with little maintenance. - **DIY Home Improvement:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore DIY home improvement products that can be easily assembled and operated using efficient and sustainable fuel sources to bring comfort and leisure opportunities to homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Off-Grid Wooden Hot Tubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodfired-hot-tubs.md) - [Rustic Fire-Powered Hot Tubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodfired-hot-tub.md) - [Inflatable Campsite Hot Tubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joolca-hottub.md) - [Spa-Inspired Outdoor Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/redwood-outdoors.md) - [Portable Luxury Saunas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thermowood-minicube-sauna.md) - [Cedar Wood Soaking Tubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ofuro-bathtub.md) - [Hot Tub Boats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacruzzi.md) - [Mobile Sauna Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-aquila.md) - [Modern Mobile Sauna Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aquila-sauna.md)
