# Wood Bead Pendant Lights Bright Beads by Coco Reynolds are Artistic Pieces of Home Decor By Meghan Young | Published 2014-09-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-bead-pendant-light References: [coolhunting](http://www.coolhunting.com/design/coco-reynolds-bright-beads-wood-lamps.php) & [marzshop](http://www.marzshop.com/) At first glance, the wood bead pendant lights could easily be mistaken for pieces of jewelry. Of course, the bulbs at the end of each strand is a dead giveaway that they are much larger and more purposeful than such accessories. Hanging from the ceiling in a gorgeously sculptural way, the wood bead pendant lights add a bit of a tribal aesthetic to people's homes and offices in a playful and stylish way. Designed by Sydneysider [Coco Reynolds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/personalized-birth-poster), the wood bead pendant light are made out of [FSC](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fractal-9)-certified American walnut, smoked ash, rock maple and American oak and hand-turned on a lathe. Dubbed Bright Beads, they are meant to be paired with dimmable LED bulbs from Marz Designs. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 43% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Tribal Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in creating more unique and artistic pieces of home decor. - **Handmade Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in creating lighting fixtures that are not only functional but also artistic and handmade. - **Sustainable Materials:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in using sustainable materials in the creation of home decor products. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in creating more unique, artistic, and sustainable home decor products. - **Artisanal Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in creating artisanal lighting fixtures that offer both functional and artistic value. - **Sustainable Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in using sustainable materials in the creation of furniture products, including lighting fixtures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Recycled Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zbozhzha-pendant-light.md) - [Wooden Pendant Lamp Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-collection-1.md) - [Mixed Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gant-pendant-lights.md) - [Skateboarding-Inspired Wood Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blue-green-works.md) - [Fishnet-Made Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-mycreation-droplet-lamp.md) - [Bakery-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant-light.md) - [Mesmerizing Glass Pendants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dew-pendant.md) - [Stacked Illuminator Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/konnect-pendant-light.md) - [Encapsulated Semi-Transparent Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nested-pendant-light.md)
