Wonderland by Aldous Massie, a digital artist based in Sydney, Australia, is a [series of illustrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storybooks-illustrator) that give a futuristic twist to the classic story of 'Alice in Wonderland.' Complete with appearances by Alice herself as well as the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Blue Caterpillar, there is a fluidity about the images that lends them a more epic feel rather than one that is simply imaginative and fantastical.

It wouldn't come as a surprise if Wonderland by Aldous Massie inspired a filmmaker to reinterpret the famous novel as a [sci-fi tale](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan). It does have all the elements to become one. In a way, Wonderland can be deemed the original Matrix. Whatever the case, the series is eye-catching.
