The charger is characterized by its [minimalist design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-charger) that looks almost like a displaced light fixture, but will actually [connect magnetically](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultracharge-magnetic-charger-25w) to the rear of a smartphone. The charger will go to work powering up the device, while also enabling it to be angled either vertically or horizontally to keep it within view when streaming content and more. The wireless charger concept is imagined in several finish options and changes up the perception of how wireless chargers have been designed up until now. The design ensures the charger never lays flat to keep the display angled up at the perfect viewing angle. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalist Design Wireless Chargers:** Wireless chargers designed with minimalist aesthetics for an improved mobile device experience. - **Magnetic Charging Technologies:** Developing magnetic wireless charging technologies to eliminate the need for cables. - **Adjustable Smartphone Docking Stations:** Creating adjustable phone docking stations for optimal viewing and hands-free use. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Mobile Device Accessories:** Designing improved mobile device accessories for charging with added functionalities. - **Consumer Electronics:** Integrating wireless charging technology for improved customer experience. - **Furniture and Interior Design:** Incorporating wirelessly charged minimalist design light fixtures and gadgets in interior design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Space-Saving Technology Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magepan-magnetic-wireless-charger.md) - [Future-Facing Charging Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-charger-concepts.md) - [Relaxing Smartphone Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stem-wireless-charger-lamp.md) - [Projector-Equipped Wireless Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silo-wireless-charger-concept.md) - [Decorative Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tricharge-wireless-charger-concept.md) - [Multifunctional Magnetic Smartphone Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rimfo-charger.md) - [Multipurpose Entryway Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-charger-lamp.md) - [Ambient Illumination Tech Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spot-on-wireless-charger.md) - [Display-Equipped Smart Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dino-charger.md)
