The 'Sand Caddy' holds up to 40-pounds of sand or kitty litter and offers an ergonomic way to keep it stored and easy to spread. This is thanks to the built-in hand and spout that make it simple to direct the grainy material into the exact spot it's needed to provide additional winter traction when it's extra icy or snowy and you've found yourself stuck. The 'Sand Caddy' features a screw-on lid that's airtight to ensure that whatever you keep contained inside it will stay dry year-round. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Winter Traction Sand:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating advanced formulas of sand or litter specifically designed for increased winter traction. - **Ergonomic Sand Storage:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in designing more efficient and user-friendly storage containers for sand or litter used for winter traction purposes. - **Weatherproof Containers:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in developing weatherproof containers that can keep sand or litter dry and easily accessible during winter months. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Automotive:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in car accessories that enhance winter traction, such as sand or litter storage solutions. - **Outdoor Maintenance:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in products for winter outdoor maintenance, including innovative containers for sand or litter used for traction. - **Home Improvement:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in home improvement products that cater to winter weather needs, such as advanced sand or litter storage solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Magnetic Gym Caddy Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-gym-caddy.md) - [Rack-Free Car Ski Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trailer-hitch-ski-rack.md) - [Car-Attachable Shoe Storage Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shoe-storage-bag.md) - [Automated Odor-Trapping Litter Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petsnowy-snow.md) - [Luxe Trunk-Like Pet Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zulo-mx-sandbox.md) - [Functional Litter Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/litterlocker-1.md) - [Sustainable Sand-Filled Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandi-toilet.md) - [Rugged All-Terrain Cargo Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-allterrain-wagon.md) - [Dynamic Cat Litter Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-object-litter-box.md)
