'Wingtra' is a [fixed-wing drone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-matrice-400) that boasts more precision, speed and fuel efficiency than quadcopters and helicopter-style UAVs.

What sets Wingtra apart is its form, which is set up to take off and launch from a vertical position. While this does give the drone fewer surface areas to bring into contact with the ground, Wingtra is aided by fins and a built-in camera in its tail, which helps to pinpoint a landing location. In terms of accuracy, this drone can autonomously pilot a landing within 10 centimeters of its target.

Once in the air, Wingtra settles into a horizontal position for flight. Depending on the intended use of this drone, it can be equipped with different modules to make it useful for everything from [surveying crops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/agricultural-drone-technology) to [dispatching emergency supplies to remote areas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/medical-supply-deliveries).
