BettyLou gets it just right, with their warm, bright and safe Wine Lights. The [wireless lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fsl-wireless), which are meant to be placed inside a [wine glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-splitglass), use lithium ion batteries which will provide that sensuous glow you seek for up to seven hours. "BettyLou is engineered for optimum light output by a lens and reflector creating a lovely environment," the company says. After taking about two years to perfect, the design is set to launch at New York's 2008 [ICFF](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anna-dawson). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Wine Lights:** The trend of creating subtle and warm ambiance using battery-operated wireless lamps that can be placed inside wine glasses. - **Sustainable Lighting:** The trend of creating environment-friendly products, promoting the usage of lithium-ion batteries, and long-lasting LED lights. - **Smart Lighting Solutions:** The trend of creating smart lighting that can be controlled via mobile apps or voice commands, providing options to change colors or brightness for a personalized experience. ### Where This Applies - **Hospitality:** Smart lighting solutions can enhance the overall dining experience in bars and restaurants while sustainable lighting can save energy costs in hotel rooms. - **Event Management:** Wine Lights can be used at events, adding a warm and soothing feeling to any romance-themed events like weddings or date nights. - **Interior Design:** Creating warm ambiance in residential or commercial spaces by using smart and sustainable lighting solutions like Wine Lights to promote a calm and comfortable environment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vintage-Inspired Candle Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vintageinspired-candle-lamps.md) - [Mood-Setting Adventurous Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guidelight.md) - [Sustainable Solar Portable Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iggy-lamp.md) - [Rechargeable Illuminating Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bouquet.md) - [Warm LED Artful Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bellboy-table-lamp.md) - [Elegant Compact Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-table-light.md) - [Poetic Battery-Powered Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/louise-table-lamp.md) - [Wine-Catered Vibrant Artful Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-table.md) - [Waterproof Champagne Bucket Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nordic-dluxx-pro.md)
