The 'Üllo Wine Purifier' is a tool designed to remove sulfites -- artificial preservatives used to bottle and store wine -- from your [favorite vino drink](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sommelier-pro-collection). Once a bottle has been opened, the sulfites are no longer needed, and many attribute a sensitivity to these sulfites to headaches associated with wine drinking. This device easily fits over most glasses or carafes and as the wine filters through a polymer screen removes unnecessary sediment and sulfites without affecting the overall taste. The 'Üllo' also has a [built in aerator feature](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vogelsang-wine-pump) that can easily be toggled on and off, depending if you prefer to let you wine breath or not. A silicone base is also included and is used to store the tool to prevent any unwanted drips after use. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 56% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Wine Purification:** The Üllo Wine Purifier offers a disruptive innovation opportunity by providing a tool to easily remove artificial preservatives from wine, addressing the issue of sensitivity and headaches associated with sulfites. - **Sulfite-free Wine:** The Üllo Wine Purifier taps into the growing trend of sulfite-free wine, providing a convenient solution for wine enthusiasts who prefer to drink wine without artificial preservatives. - **Convenient Wine Accessories:** The Üllo Wine Purifier caters to the trend of convenient wine accessories, offering a tool that easily fits over glasses or carafes and provides filtering and aerating functionalities. ### Who This Affects Most - **Wine Industry:** The Üllo Wine Purifier presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for the wine industry by offering a solution to easily remove sulfites from wine, addressing consumer concerns about artificial preservatives. - **Consumer Electronics:** The Üllo Wine Purifier falls under the consumer electronics industry, offering a innovative device that filters wine and removes artificial preservatives, providing a unique value proposition for wine enthusiasts. - **Kitchenware:** The Üllo Wine Purifier belongs to the kitchenware industry, offering a convenient tool for filtering and aerating wine, appealing to consumers who enjoy wine and value convenience in their kitchen accessories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anti-Hangover Wine Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/purewine-wand.md) - [Sulfites-Eliminating Portable Wine Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uno-wine-purifying-wands.md) - [Magnetic Spirit Filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pouravida.md) - [Flavor Preservation Wine Openers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coravin-timeless-three-sl.md) - [Wine Top Vacuum Seals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoenox.md) - [Sparkling Wine Preservation Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coravin.md) - [Metallic Wine-Aging Bar Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peugeot-clef-du-vin-wine-tool.md) - [Single-Serve Wine Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coravin-vinitas.md) - [Automatic Water Filter Pitchers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automatic-water-filter.md)
