# Luxe Wine Lamps This Wine Bottle Lamp from Designer Maison Martin Margiela is a Drinker’s Dr By Ashley Noelle Lesiak | Published 2013-12-12 | Special Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-bottle-lamp References: [fancy](http://fancy.com/things/501865021697951696/Small-Black-Bottle-Lamp-by-Maison-Martin-Margiela) & [maisonmartinmargiela](http://www.maisonmartinmargiela.com/) This Maison Martin Margiela wine bottle lamp is a heck of a lot classier than getting a box-shaped lamp. Now with this wine bottle lamp, you know your empties are going to a good cause. This stylish wine bottle lamp will get you drunk on its beautiful design. The stand of the lamp is a dark green empty bottle of wine. The kind of bottle that once housed sweet, sweet red wine. On top of the wine bottle lamp is a cylindrical black shade, which is great for keeping the brightness down on those more “challenging” mornings. Near the bottom of the bottle is what looks like the residue of a label. This wine bottle lamp is sophisticated and romantic. It is unique but not outrageous. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Special](https://www.trendhunter.com/special) > [Holiday](https://www.trendhunter.com/holiday) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Sustainable Lighting:** Designing lamps using repurposed wine bottles presents an opportunity for sustainable lighting solutions. - **Upcycled Decor:** The trend of using empty wine bottles as decorative items can be tapped into to create unique and upcycled home decor pieces. - **Eco-luxury:** Creating high-end, eco-friendly products like wine bottle lamps offers a market for eco-luxury goods. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate wine bottle lamps into their projects to add a unique and sustainable touch to spaces. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can leverage the trend of upcycled wine bottle decor by offering a range of creatively designed pieces. - **Sustainable Energy:** The sustainable energy industry can explore opportunities in repurposing waste materials, such as wine bottles, for eco-friendly lighting solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Recycled Material Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cozy-cleo-lamp.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [French Vineyard-Inspired Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maison-marrain.md) - [Urban Debris-Crafted Portable Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/remli.md) - [Extravagant Whiskey Bottle Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whiskey-bottle-design.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Supercar-Inspired Wine Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taron-wine-bottle-designs.md) - [Sleek Rechargeable Marbled Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solid-table-light.md) - [Luxe Candle-Melting Lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infra-luna-20.md)
