# Movie-Inspired Candelabras The Wine Bottle Candle Holder is Inspired by 'Lady and the Tramp' By Meghan Young | Published 2011-06-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-bottle-candle-holder References: [coolhunting](http://www.coolhunting.com/design/wine-bottle-candle-holder.php) & [couvertureandthegarbstore](http://www.couvertureandthegarbstore.com/product/?p=4001) Although the Wine Bottle Candle Holder happens to be inspired by the classic 1955 [Disney](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tribute-camera) film 'Lady and the Tramp,' there is something very clean and modern about these particular candle holders. Considering that they are made for the contemporary household, I shouldn't be surprised. What I do find myself surprised about is the materials used to make the Wine Bottle Candle Holder. Instead of actually being made out of an old wine bottle, it was handcrafted from wood with a metal interior to better hold the candle. Lacquered in different bright and pastel colors, these candle holders are romantic and quite feminine. The Wine Bottle Candle Holder is available in three sizes, small (19 pounds), medium (25 pounds) and large (29 pounds). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Movie-inspired Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor companies to create unique, movie-inspired products that appeal to modern aesthetics and design. - **Handcrafted Wood Home Accessories:** Opportunity for artisans to create eco-friendly home accessories made from wood that add a touch of nostalgia to modern homes. - **Bright and Pastel-colored Decor:** Opportunity for home decor brands to create colorful products with a touch of elegance and femininity that cater to contemporary design trends. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Home decor industry can create movie-inspired products that cater to modern aesthetics and design. - **Artisanal Woodworking:** Artisans can create eco-friendly home accessories made from wood that add a touch of nostalgia to modern homes. - **Candle Making:** Candle making industry can use unique materials and design to create products that appeal to contemporary design trends. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Luxurious Sculptural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-candle-holders.md) - [Luxe Refillable Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/les-mondes-de-diptyque.md) - [Fire Connection-Inspired Candleholders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charles-kalpakian-1.md) - [Interestingly Shaped Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poise-candle-holder.md) - [Adorable Bee-Inspired Candlesticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beeinspired-candlesticks.md) - [Striking Sculptural Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpture-candle.md) - [Handmade Novel-Inspired Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/literature-candles.md) - [Flame-Free Candle Warmers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Romance-Inspired Candle Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/romanceinspired-candle.md)
