Aside from your lay-z-boys, you'll realize that most pieces are designed to experience no movement to minimal adjustment. This whimsical [wheel-like sofa](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-spinning-coffee-table) was made to spin, allowing its sitter to lie back and daydream with a constantly changing outlook. Unusually, the piece also embodies an asymmetry that's fairly rare in chair department. Its circular top is slightly sloped, giving one's experience of [swiveling](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swivel-series) a bit more depth. The playful Windmills by Constance Guisset would surely be fun for the user, but its very presence in a room would bring pleasure to the observer. Its [colorful slices of soft fabric](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-co) would certainly liven up any living space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Dynamic Furniture Designs:** The trend of creating furniture that challenges fixed nature and offers movement as well as adjustability opportunities. - **Asymmetric Home Furnishings:** The trend of introducing asymmetrical shapes and designs in chairs, sofas and other furnishings that entirely changes the look of an interior. - **Colorful Soft Furnishings:** The trend of using vibrant and soft fabric slices as a design feature to create a beautiful and lively living space. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The furniture manufacturing industry can explore the use of dynamic designs and color patterns to create unique and modern furniture items that are both functional and visually appealing. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can explore the use of dynamic designs and asymmetrical shapes to create unique and engaging spaces that go beyond conventional interior design concepts. - **Textile Industry:** The textile industry can explore the trend of using vibrant and soft fabric slices as a design feature to create beautiful and lively home decor items including soft furnishings, indoor plants, curtains, and rugs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Swivelling Marbled Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/landmark-project.md) - [Dynamic Movement Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wobbl-rocking-chair.md) - [Rotating Solar-Powered Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-solarpowered-bench-that-spins-ever-so-slowly.md) - [All-Direction Wobbling Rocking Chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wobbling-rocking-chair.md) - [Adventurous Versatile Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flipster-seat.md) - [Rotating Solar Powered Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eness-1.md) - [Naturalistic Grass-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-flip-chair.md) - [Functional Decorative Rocking Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rool-stool.md) - [Dynamic Moving-Illusion Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moving-furniture.md)
