The process of creating the spirit started off with [Appleton Master](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hearts-collection-1998) Blender Dr. Joy Spence selecting casks used for aging 14-year-old pot still rum that would fit best with the bourbon. The 10-year-old bourbon was then placed inside the casks upon being sent to Wild Turkey Master Distiller Eddie Russell before being bottled at 106-proof. The Wild Turkey Master's Keep Voyage bourbon is reported to feature flavors of fruit, caramel, aged oak and spices, and is perfect for enjoyment on its own or in a premium cocktail. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 93% | Freshness: 16% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Craft Distillery Collaborations:** Craft distilleries partnering with other spirit makers to create unique and premium limited-edition releases, such as Wild Turkey Master's Keep Voyage bourbon with Appleton Estate. - **Cask Aging Experimentation:** Exploring the use of different cask types for aging spirits, like the combination of 14-year-old pot still rum casks and 10-year-old bourbon casks in the creation of Wild Turkey Master's Keep Voyage bourbon. - **Premium Cocktail Experience:** Creating high-end and refined cocktail offerings using premium spirits like Wild Turkey Master's Keep Voyage bourbon, known for its complex flavors of fruit, caramel, aged oak, and spices. ### Where This Applies - **Craft Distillery:** Craft distilleries looking to collaborate with other spirits brands to create unique and premium limited-edition releases, expanding their product line and attracting new customers. - **Cask Manufacturing:** Cask manufacturers experimenting with innovative cask designs and materials to cater to the growing demand for unique and flavorful spirits, opening up opportunities for partnerships with distilleries. - **Cocktail Bars and Lounges:** Upscale cocktail bars and lounges curating sophisticated drink menus featuring premium spirits like Wild Turkey Master's Keep Voyage bourbon, enhancing the premium cocktail experience for discerning consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Career-Celebrating Limited-Edition Bourbons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jimmy-russell.md) - [Limited-Production Bourbon Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/limitedproduction-bourbon.md) - [Curated Oak-Finished Whiskeys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pursuit-spirits.md) - [Flavorful Limited-Edition Bourbons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/limitededition-bourbon.md) - [Artfully Blended Whiskeys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stoli-group.md) - [Complex Team-Honoring Bourbons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/makers-mark-the-keepers-release.md) - [Flavorful Bourbon Expressions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barrel-strength-bourbon.md) - [Autumnal Kentucky Bourbons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bear-fight-orchard-vine.md) - [Hybrid Cask-Aged Whiskeys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-glenlivet-rum-and-bourbon-fusion-cask.md)
