Rather than recording 24/7, the iLuv mySight will take 10-second video clips every time motion or noise is detected to ensure that nothing is missed. Easily setup in about one minute, the iLuv mySight can offer [real-time streaming capabilities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wifi-cameras) for users to view via their [iOS or Android smartphone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reolink-e1-pro). When a video clip is recorded, the iLuv mySight WiFi video camera will store it for 24-hours then delete it if not required. This enables the device to be more efficient and decrease the need for users to constantly have to manually delete recorded footage. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Agile Security Cameras:** Developing security cameras that only record when motion or noise is detected can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for security companies - **Real-time Streaming Capabilities:** Providing users the ability to view video clips in real-time via their smartphone can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for communication software companies - **Efficient Storage Methods:** Implementing efficient storage methods such as automatic deletion of footage can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for cloud storage companies ### Sectors Adopting This - **Security Industry:** Developing newer and efficient security cameras can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for the security industry - **Communication Software Industry:** Providing real-time streaming capabilities to users can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for the communication software industry - **Cloud Storage Industry:** Developing efficient storage methods such as automatic deletion of footage can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for the cloud storage industry ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Privacy-Focused Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/visio-wifi-camera-concept.md) - [AI-Powered Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ezviz-c6-security-camera.md) - [Nature-Friendly Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reli-light-cam-d1.md) - [Low-Cost AI Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchbot-indoor-cam.md) - [Security Camera Smart Bulbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyze-bulb-cam.md) - [AI Person-Tracking Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ezviz-c8w-pro-2k.md) - [Advanced Affordable Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eufy-solocam-c210.md) - [Live-Enabled Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/simplisafe-1.md) - [Motion-Sensing Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-camera-1.md)
