# Sing-Proof Shower Curtains White Noise Shtorkus Keeps Your Bathing Ballads to Your Sudsy Self By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-12-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/white-noise-shtorkus References: [bookofjoe](http://www.bookofjoe.com/2013/12/white-noise-shower-curtain.html) & [artlebedev](http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/shtorkus/white-noise/) Do people complain about your singing in the shower? I'd love to know how good the White Noise Shtorkus is at affecting the acoustics in one's bathroom. While it doesn't actually promise to muffle melodies, perhaps it can improve sound quality to make your tuneful output even more beautiful than you already believe it to be. The pattern on the Art Lebedev bathroom accessory has been inspired by the look of [television static](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-noices) with a mess of black and white specks. It's said that "the artwork on this shtorkus is best experienced when accompanied by running shower." Bringing tech-influenced modernity to the washroom, the White Noise Shtorkus [shower curtain](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-spot) certainly has an aesthetic appeal. It might be optically busy, but it's neutral, and it would dampen the visual effect any outrageous design elements that surround it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 35% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Shower Curtain Innovation:** There is an opportunity to create shower curtains that are not only aesthetically pleasing but can also affect acoustics in one's bathroom. - **AI-influenced Bathroom Accessories:** There is an opportunity to incorporate AI technology into bathroom accessories to improve user's experiences. - **Sensory Design Elements:** There is an opportunity to incorporate sensory design elements into bathroom accessories to enhance the user's senses and create a more immersive experience. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Bathroom Accessories Industry:** Companies in the bathroom accessories industry can look into incorporating new designs and technology to improve user's experiences. - **Home Decor Industry:** The home decor industry can look into incorporating sensory design elements into products to create a more immersive experience for users. - **Smart Home Industry:** The smart home industry can look into incorporating AI technology into bathroom accessories to create a more intelligent and connected bathroom experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sound-Absorbing Curtains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-gunnlaug.md) - [Hygiene-Focused Shower Head Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear.md) - [Simplified Acoustic Curtain Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noren.md) - [Nature-Inspired Artful Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-bathing-collection.md) - [Call-Enabled Shower Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taito-shower-mixer.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Colorful Hand Shower Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sproos-shower.md) - [Bird-Inspired Speaker Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birdinspired-speaker.md) - [Geometric Sound-Dampening Wall Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acoustic-compositions.md)
