Designed by Marcel Wanders for the London Design Festival, this Moooi house features a horse lamp, a pig table and a gigantic bird display to fully integrate an [animalistic theme](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ark-collection). The intricate [spider-like lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moodi) in the White House of Moooi includes approximately 15 separately attached lamps and can be mechanically adjusted over a floral-themed table setting. This nature-inspired abode is creatively fun and uniquely bizarre. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 69% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Nature-inspired Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a line of home decor products that integrate elements inspired by nature, such as animal motifs and floral designs. - **Customizable Lighting Fixtures:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a range of customizable lighting fixtures that can be adjusted and positioned to create unique and personalized lighting experiences. - **Whimsical Furniture Designs:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design and produce furniture pieces that combine functionality with imaginative and playful features, appealing to consumers looking for unique and quirky home furnishings. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Embrace the animalistic home decor trend to offer innovative interior design solutions and stand out in the industry. - **Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the potential of customizable lighting fixtures to revolutionize the lighting industry and cater to individual preferences. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Tap into the demand for whimsical furniture designs, creating a niche market for creative and unconventional home furnishing options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wilderness-Inspired Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/habitat-collection.md) - [Vibrant Dynamic Fastasia Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moooi.md) - [Stylish Oakwood Storage Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moose-cabinet.md) - [Whimsically Designed Hotel Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cowley-manor-experimental.md) - [Cozy Sheep-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flock-furniture.md) - [Creature-Inspired Home Good Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charles-jeffreys-loverboy.md) - [Durable Animal-Shaped Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/metal-cow-accent-table.md) - [Architectural Ceramic Surfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-nesting-room.md) - [Imaginative Mushroom Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/white-rabbit-england.md)
