Designer Demna Gvasalia is from Georgia and it has historical issues with Russia -- the new sneakers pay homage to that, referencing the aftermath that followed the collapse of the Soviet Union. Both of the sneakers are complete in a series of messages that refer to anti-war concepts across the uppers. The soles feature hand-drawn images and text and are all crafted in Italy.
