The Whistling Rock [Golf Clubhouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muni-indoor-golf-club) certainly does not blend in with the natural surroundings of the building. The design was completed by [Mecanoo Architecten](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natural-history-museum-abu-dhab) firm, and the clubhouse is located in South Korea.

The clubhouse is made from two elongated slabs that site above and below the main section of the building. Glass then wraps around these two concrete sections, allowing people inside to take in the impressive views. Indeed, the structure does not mimic the sloping mountains or resemble the landscape in any way, making it visible from a ways away. Many architectural designs these days take inspiration from this natural landscape, but clearly Mecanoo decided to go against this common method and build something that would stand out.
