The [tiny home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hirondelle-tiny-house) dubbed 'Honey on the Rock' was built by Carpenter Owl. The whiskey still is hidden inside of a copper-topped table underneath a 4K dwarf wood stove. All the plumbing is also copper. Two-story 'double decker decks' are connected by a [spiral staircase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabini-edelweiss) and there is a vintage soaker tub concealed under a table on the upstairs deck. Although the micro house is only 22 feet long, 8.5 feet wide and 13.5 feet high, it features a luxurious king size bed. Other fun features include all hand-cut light fixtures, a secret door connecting the loft bedroom to the outdoor tub, porthole windows and a reclaimed roof. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Vacation Home Customization:** The trend of customizing vacation homes around unique and personal items presents opportunities for home builders to offer tailored and memorable experiences. - **Hidden Functional Furniture:** The trend of incorporating hidden functional furniture, such as a whiskey still table, into home design provides an opportunity for furniture manufacturers to create innovative and multifunctional pieces. - **Luxury Micro Homes:** The trend of compact yet luxurious micro homes offers an opportunity for architects and developers to create high-end, space-efficient living solutions. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Building:** The home building industry can benefit from the trend of vacation home customization by offering design and construction services for clients who want unique and personalized features. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can tap into the trend of hidden functional furniture by designing and producing innovative pieces that serve multiple purposes and add a surprise element to home decor. - **Architecture and Development:** Architects and developers can capitalize on the trend of luxury micro homes by designing and creating high-quality, compact living spaces that provide all the necessary amenities and a touch of luxury. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cottage-Like Luxurious Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hidden-mountain-tiny-villa.md) - [Clever Elegant Compact Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/honey-216.md) - [Revived Stone Sheds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microhome-renovation.md) - [Rentable Miniature Modern Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-nest-1.md) - [Spacious Cottage-Like Luxe Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-sky.md) - [Warm Compact Living](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-spruce.md) - [Mountain Retreat Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/horizon-cabin.md) - [Blackened Timber Tranquil Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-hideaway-house.md) - [Mountaintop Wooden Cozy Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/william-hunter-collective.md)
