If you love ice cream in your soda and also have a fondness for whiskey, you will love this whiskey root beer float. Created by Fork to Belly, the boozy recipe is fairly simple to make.

Food blogger Courtney used [Japanese whiskey](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suntory-world-whisky-ao-highball), but you can use two shots of the whiskey of your choice. The whiskey root beer float calls for chilled root beer and scooped [vanilla bean ice cream](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graeters-bourbon-ball) as well. Courtney poured the root beer first, added the alcohol and then scooped ice cream into the bubbly concoction.

This frothy beverage is a great drink to celebrate with, especially if you have a sweet tooth. The playful libation is an adult twist on a classic dessert you probably haven't had in a while.
