That is because the [playful seat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palma-pouf) is as constant a companion as the little lamb that would follow her to school. The whimsical stool also boasts a stylish design that makes the space it is placed in much sweeter and brighter for its presence. Designed by Manrico Freda, the whimsical stool has been named Cora, which is just as endearing as its rotund shape. Finished with a super-cozy natural wool felt surface, its four stout legs are made out of wood. The whimsical stool is available in [11 colors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edition-two) including pink for the girlie girl and black for ones who are less so. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Modern Whimsical Stools:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation lies in creating more modern and fun designs for stools that add a playful touch to any space. - **Fluffy Sheeps Inspiration:** There is potential for disruption in the market by incorporating fluffy animal-inspired designs in furniture to create unique and whimsical pieces. - **Cozy Natural Wool Felt Surface:** The use of cozy natural wool felt surface in furniture opens up an opportunity for innovative designs that prioritize comfort and tactile experiences. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can explore creating more modern and whimsical stools that cater to a playful aesthetic and add a unique touch to interiors. - **Home Decor:** In the home decor industry, incorporating animal-inspired designs like fluffy sheeps in stools and furniture can create a distinctive and whimsical style for spaces. - **Textile Manufacturing:** The textile manufacturing industry has an opportunity to innovate by producing cozy natural wool felt surfaces for furniture, offering enhanced comfort and tactile experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Horse-Inspired Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-falabella-stool.md) - [Cozy Sheep-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flock-furniture.md) - [Whimsical Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-design-review.md) - [Sculptural Monochromatic Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monochromatic-stool.md) - [Joyfully Inspired Multipurpose Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/girard-stool.md) - [Stone-Like Styrofoam Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinold-styrofoam-stools.md) - [East-Meets-West-Inspired Layered Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cornice.md) - [Contemporary Rocking Pouffe Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/platero.md) - [Childhood-Informed Dome Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-clodette-chair.md)
