# Evolutionary Washbasins Wet's 'Mr. Big Sink' Encourages Ergonomic Harmony By Meghan Young | Published 2010-04-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wet-s-mr-big References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/004271.html) & [wet.co.it](http://www.wet.co.it/) I never really thought about my posture when brushing my teeth, washing my face or my hands until I stumbled upon Wet's Mr. Big sink. Now I can't help but realize how ergonomically unfriendly our [traditional washbasins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archiplan-compact-basin-collection) are as we have to almost double over in order to use them. Wet's Mr. Big sink, however, corrects that by being exceptionally tall. Debuting at the [Salone Internazionale del Bagno](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/living-collection) in Milan, if you're put off by the height, its [contemporary design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infinito) will surely reel you in. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Ergonomic Washbasins:** Opportunity to develop washbasins designed to improve posture and ergonomics for users. - **Contemporary Sink Designs:** Opportunity for creating modern and visually appealing sink designs for bathrooms. - **Height-adjusted Washbasins:** Opportunity to innovate with washbasins that are taller than traditional designs for better usability. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Bathroom Fixture Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunities to create innovative washbasins and other bathroom fixtures. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity to incorporate unique and visually appealing sink designs into interior design projects. - **Ergonomic Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunities to develop ergonomic products for everyday use, including washbasins. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Angular Ceramic Sink Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angle-washbasin.md) - [Ultra-Modern Freestanding Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freestanding-sink.md) - [Ergonomic Kitchen Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fotile-x20-max.md) - [Textural Bathroom Sink Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/washbasin-collection.md) - [Marble Slab Washbasins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piano-washbasin.md) - [Reinventive Modern Kitchen Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-kitchen.md) - [Elegant Kitchen Sink Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-sink-system.md) - [Tech-Equipped Kitchen Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-kitchen-sink.md) - [Enhanced Stylish Faucet Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnibath.md)
