Located above Sunset Boulevard, the home is privy to [panoramic views of Hollywood, Beverly Hills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-scale-collective) and Brentwood. The architects re-oriented the home to face the west, wishing to maximize the surrounding views and increase access to natural light. The client wanted to imbue the contemporary home with a South East Asian vibe. To do so, the designers chose a rich color palette to complement the owner's collection of artifacts, proudly displayed throughout the home. The exterior of the home is clad in mangaris wood that coheres with the warmth of the interior color scheme. The home also emphasizes [indoor-outdoor living](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/waverley-house) using retractable doors and full height glass. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 2% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Panoramic Views:** The trend of maximizing and emphasizing panoramic views in home design provides opportunities for innovative window and glass solutions. - **South East Asian Vibes:** The trend of incorporating South East Asian aesthetics into contemporary home design creates opportunities for interior designers and furniture manufacturers to offer unique and culturally-inspired products. - **Indoor-outdoor Living:** The trend of blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces in home design presents opportunities for architects and construction companies to create seamless and flexible living environments. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Window and Glass Solutions:** The window and glass industry can capitalize on the trend of maximizing panoramic views by developing innovative and technologically advanced window systems. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can take advantage of the trend of incorporating South East Asian vibes by offering services and products that cater to this specific aesthetic. - **Architecture and Construction:** Architects and construction companies can tap into the trend of indoor-outdoor living by designing and building homes that seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hollywood Regency Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cordell-drive.md) - [Tranquil Aesthetic Bungalow Renovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/echo-park-hillhouse.md) - [Minimal Mid-Century Hollywood Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mulholland.md) - [Textured Mid-Century Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highland-park-residence.md) - [Seaside Home Renovation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-de-praia.md) - [Japanese-Inspired Renovated Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duane-house.md) - [Juxtaposing Minimal Artful Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oceana-retreat.md) - [Coastal View Island Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cape-drive-residence.md) - [Luxuriously Artistic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/child-studio1.md)
