This monstrous and beautiful home has a panoramic view of the coast with the front of the house influenced by Bali. The back end of the home has an open-concept that embraces elements of the Indian Ocean. The home is full of beautiful wooden panels, stone walls and open concepts that have a rustic and tribal theme. As well, the building is surrounded by [green vegetation and forests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-by-the-grove) that give its open concept a feeling of privacy. The home is seperated into various sections with a pond flowing between each structure. As the sun sets, the colors bounce off of the water, creating an unbelievable sight. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 77% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Panoramic View Homes:** This trend presents opportunities for architects and developers to create homes that offer breathtaking panoramic views as a key selling point. - **Bali-inspired Architecture:** The incorporation of Bali-inspired elements into designs provides a unique and exotic aesthetic that can attract homeowners seeking a distinctive ambiance and cultural influence. - **Open-concept Living:** The popularization of open-concept living spaces allows for greater versatility and customization in architectural design, enabling architects to create innovative layouts that cater to modern living preferences. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Architects can seize upon the trend of Bali-inspired hilltop abodes to incorporate cultural elements, unique materials, and create residences that blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. - **Real Estate Development:** Developers can capitalize on the demand for panoramic views and open-concept homes by creating exclusive properties that offer stunning vistas and customizable living spaces. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can embrace the rustic and tribal themes seen in the West Edge House to create unique and refreshing spaces that evoke a sense of tranquility and cultural connection. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Organic Cliffside Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intaaya-retreat.md) - [Fiji Ocean-Front Estate Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reef-house.md) - [Nature-Immersive Tranquil Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treehouse-villas.md) - [Organic Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diachok-architects.md) - [Elegant Gabled Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hale-kiawe.md) - [Vibrant Tropical Guesthouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bi-design-house.md) - [Stepped Hillside Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/b2a-architects.md) - [Contemporary Cantilevered Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/westview-residence.md) - [Off-Grid Oceanside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campos-studio.md)
