TRUFAST's TruBond Induction Weld system is presented as a new technology for commercial roofing that allows for the mechanical attachment of insulation and coverboards to a roof deck without penetrating the top layer of single-ply membrane. The system works by using a specialized induction welding tool to create a secure bond between the roofing membrane and a metal plate fastened to the deck below, effectively eliminating the need for fasteners that would otherwise pierce through the membrane and create potential leak paths.

TRUFAST's TruBond Induction Weld system is portable. It includes a backpack power unit and a compact weld head with ergonomic handles, designed to give workers greater mobility and control across the roof surface while reducing physical strain during installation. Visual indicators and a fault detection system are integrated to help ensure consistent weld quality, and the plates are compatible with various deck types, including steel, wood, and concrete.
