Clad in pastel-colored ceramic tiles, the pavilion exudes a sense of grandeur and elegance, embodying the artist's vision of "a temple to love." Joana Vasconcelos achieves a rich sensory experience for the wedding cake pavilion by using glossy and highly glazed patterned ceramic tiles. The incorporation of trickling water and a site-specific lighting scheme enhances the ambiance. The baroque ornamentation, on the other hand, is impressive with its intricacy and high attention to detail. Furthermore, Joana Vasconcelos "champions traditional, hand-made objects and techniques" in her artistic practice, elevating the aesthetic of the wedding cake pavilion even more.
