The [wearable air purifier](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mito-air-purifier) works by being attached to a [cyclist's helmet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumos-nyxel) and will immediately go to work capturing exhaust fumes, dust, dirt, allergens, smoke and other dangerous airborne particles. The unit will then provide purified air to the cyclist in an open-concept manner that won't obstruct their eyes, mouth or nose. The 'IWIND' wearable breathing filter is capable of pumping more than 45 liters of fresh air per minute to the wearer and is compatible with 99% of helmets on the market to ensure its suitable for any safety equipment. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wearable Air Purifiers:** The development of wearable air purifiers provides a disruptive innovation opportunity to improve air quality for individuals in polluted environments. - **Cycling Safety Accessories:** The rise of innovative cycling safety accessories like helmet air purifiers creates opportunities to enhance the protection and comfort of cyclists on urban roads. - **Personalized Air Filtration:** The trend towards personalized air filtration solutions, such as the IWIND breathing filter, allows individuals to maintain clean and breathable air while engaging in outdoor activities. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Cycling Gear:** The cycling gear industry can explore the incorporation of air purification technology into helmets and other accessories, providing cyclists with a safer and healthier riding experience. - **Air Purification:** The air purification industry can expand its product offerings by developing wearable solutions like the IWIND breathing filter, catering to individuals who are exposed to polluted environments on a regular basis. - **Safety Equipment:** The safety equipment industry has the opportunity to innovate by integrating air purifiers into various protective gear, ensuring that individuals are not only shielded from physical harm but also from harmful airborne pollutants. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Air-Purifying Motorcyclist Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zyon-smart-motorcycle-helmet.md) - [Air-Blowing Face Masks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-mask.md) - [Wearable Allergy-Alleviating Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/respiray-wear-a.md) - [Aerodynamic Filtration Face Masks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goa-face-protector.md) - [Bike-Mounted Air Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bikemounted-air-monitor.md) - [Neck-Worn Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-air-purifier-concept.md) - [Air-Purifying Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dyzon-zone-headphones.md) - [Targeted Portable Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hale-personal-air-purifier.md) - [High-Tech Air-Purifying Masks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airpurifying-mask.md)
