# Weaponized Frisbees This Frisbee is Rimmed With Dastardly Surgical Scalpels By Rahul Kalvapalle | Published 2015-08-18 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/weaponized References: [toyland.gizmodo](http://toyland.gizmodo.com/this-weaponized-frisbee-is-straight-out-of-a-james-bond-1724519964) & [youtube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgx8S-stGVI&feature=youtu.be) Joerg Sprave has created some pretty insane and crazy objects before, but this weaponized frisbee might be the scariest, most ridiculous and most awesome thing he's created yet. This frisbee is certainly not designed to be flung around on the beach, unless you have some very truly nefarious intentions. The frisbee is rimmed with four truly devious-looking [surgical scalpels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/c200) -- so sharp that they're likely to leave you requiring surgery should you throw one of these around without being exceedingly careful. Now you may ask why someone would invent something like this, and the answer is quite simple -- it's a great deal of fun. Sprave hasn't exactly outlined if he believes that there are any wider implications to this weaponized frisbee, but there's no doubt it makes for a [badass toy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/micro-katana). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 100% | Activity: 99% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Weaponized Frisbees:** Opportunity for designing innovative weaponized toys that combine fun and danger. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Extreme Sports:** Potential for creating unique and thrilling sporting equipment that pushes boundaries. - **Surgical Instruments:** Possibility for reimagining surgical tools for specialized or unconventional use. - **Toys and Games:** Opportunity to develop edgy and exciting toys that cater to thrill-seekers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Revolutionary Flying Disc](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spin-pro-award-winner.md) - [Illuminated Flying Discs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/active-led-flying-disc.md) - [Collectible EDC Christmas Ornaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-james-brand-throwflake.md) - [Advanced Ultrasonic Hobby Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hozo-design-neoblade.md) - [Dynamic Movement Pocket Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/craighill-sidewinder-knife.md) - [Coin-Style Disc Shaped Cutters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quarter-ccutter.md) - [Design-Driven Pizza Cutters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stainless-steel-pizza-cutter.md) - [Axe-Style Pizza Cutters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pizza-axe.md) - [Miniature EDC Sword Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/micro-katana.md)
