In the United States, where it seems like everyone and their grandma has a handgun, this type of chair should be flying off the shelves with its detailed revolver carving discreetly hidden underneath the seat. It is said that home invaders and armed robberies often involve the owner's weapon being used against them, if they stored their gun in such a [well-hidden place](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoom-chair), they would be at an immediate advantage. It may make you feel more comfortable to know that a firearm is ready and within arm's reach right under your chair while no one else has any clue with this Sebastian Errazuriz Gun Chair. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 79% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Weapon-hiding Furniture:** Designing furniture that can conceal weapons to give the owner an immediate advantage in potential instances of home invasion or burglaries. - **Discreet Weapon Storage:** Creating storage spaces that allow gun owners to have easy access to their weapons while keeping them well-hidden from others, improving safety measures and reducing the risk of accidental or dangerous use. - **Security Furniture:** Developing furniture that doubles as a security feature, providing homeowners with peace of mind and increased protection against potential dangers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** Furniture companies exploring new designs for unique and functional pieces that can serve as more than just decoration, but also meet specific safety and security needs of their clients. - **Security:** Security companies offering innovative products for gun owners, such as weapon hiding furniture, that prioritize safety and access control while still allowing a fast response in dangerous situations. - **Home Defense:** Companies that specialize in home defense products exploring new ways to provide homeowners with more effective and reliable defense options against intruders, burglars, and other potential threats. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Industrial Light-Equipped Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hidden-light-chair.md) - [Self-Defence Tubular Inflatable Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/street-seat.md) - [Low-Lying Profile Cushioned Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kouros-maghsoudi.md) - [Suspenseful Statement Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edgeofyr.md) - [Relaxed Anti-Distraction Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fortune-chair.md) - [Cozy Storage-Focused Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pocket-chair.md) - [Posh Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arch-chair-design.md) - [Storage-Attached Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-chair.md) - [Storage-Equipped Restaurant Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rack-chair.md)
