The Waze navigation app runs off of Google Maps and is updated in real-time, making it a popular choice for many commuters and explorers alike. The application allows the user to play music directly inside of it which helps keep drivers' focus on the road. Since 2017, Waze had integrated with other third-party media players such as [YouTube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/family-link) and [Spotify](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strava-1). Now, Apple Music users can enjoy their entire music library while driving. On top of this, Waze's built-in Apple Music feature promotes music discovery with features such as Apple Music Radio and custom-curated Apple Music Playlists based on listening history. Waze can be used with Apple Music on both Android and [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/waze-conversational-reporting) devices, though the experience is more seamless when utilizing an Apple device.
