Designed without armrests or a backrest, this piece of furniture more naturally complements the curves of the human body with its gentle undulating surface. Sascha Akkermann thought inside of the box -- so to speak -- when he dreamed up this unual seating object. What's really neat about this wavy sofa is that its surface looks so organic; however, it's completely contrived by carefully arranging the [144 separate modules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-furniture-piece) to form continuous curvatures.
