The showerhead is creatively able to track and alert the consumer to when they are consuming too much water so that they can better monitor their usage. Fresh water is a precious natural resource, and one that is becoming more and more important and scarce. The Hydraeo Smart Shower design aims at helping consumers become more conscious about their usage with innovative [sensors inside the head](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flo-smart-water-monitor). The sensors track how much water has been dispensed. Then it uses [LED colored lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-light-showerhead-filter) to denote how much has been used, moving from green for an acceptable amount to purple and then red for over-usage. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 57% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Water Conservation:** The Hydrao Smart Shower system utilizes sensors and color-coded LED lights to track and monitor water usage, promoting water conservation. - **Smart Home Technology:** The integration of sensors in the Hydrao Smart Shower system demonstrates the potential for smart home devices to optimize resource consumption and promote sustainability. - **Behavioral Tracking:** The use of sensors and LED lights in the Hydrao Smart Shower system provides real-time feedback to users, encouraging them to modify their behavior and adopt more water-saving habits. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Improvement:** The Hydrao Smart Shower system has disruptive innovation potential in the home improvement industry by offering a sustainable solution for water conservation. - **Energy Efficiency:** The integration of sensors and LED lights in shower systems could revolutionize the energy efficiency industry by promoting conscious resource consumption. - **Environmental Solutions:** The Hydrao Smart Shower system embodies an environmental solution in the bathroom industry, encouraging eco-friendly practices and reducing water waste. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Water-Saving Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alu.md) - [Closed-Loop Bathing Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upfall-shower.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Water-Saving Bathroom Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bergvattnet.md) - [Instantaneous Hot Water Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heau-shower.md) - [Temperature-Displaying Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invispace.md) - [WiFi-Enabled Circular Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circular-shower.md) - [Self-Powered Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ung-water-enhancer.md) - [Water Purification Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shower-head-filter-system.md)
