The product addresses a few of the inconveniences that come with tending to one's indoor garden — from watering a few pots at a time to the user experience of holding the can. Informed by the ways people tend to deal with such difficulties, Marcus Eisendorf created a porcelain watering can design that is sure to fit into one's hand and hold enough liquid to hydrate a few pots at a time. In addition, it's compact size makes it easy for consumers to store the product when not in use. Moreover, the curvature of the neck was also subject to a thoughtful design process as Marcus Eisendorf wanted to ensure maximum usability. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Smart-plant-watering Technology:** Developing more intuitive, technology-based watering systems to improve indoor plant care. - **Eco-friendly Watering Tools:** Creating environmentally-conscious watering system designs and materials to reduce water waste and promote sustainability. - **Multi-purpose Plant Care Tools:** Designing all-in-one tools that simplify indoor plant care and address common issues with traditional tools. ### Where This Applies - **Home and Garden:** Innovating new tools and technology to enhance the experience of growing plants indoors or outdoors. - **Sustainable Design:** Using sustainable materials and zero-waste manufacturing methods to create innovative and eco-friendly indoor gardening tools. - **Smart Home:** Integrating intelligent plant care technology into the smart home ecosystem to improve indoor air quality and enhance home decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tendril-1.md) - [Self-Watering Desk Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/posha.md) - [Naturalistic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apot-selfwatering-planter.md) - [Futuristic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-klaustrafloria.md) - [Self-Watering Compact Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patella-crescenda.md) - [Furniture-Inspired Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-garden-system.md) - [Two-in-One Plant Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfwatering-planter-propagation-station.md) - [Gentle Slant Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter.md) - [Playful Garden-Inspired Gin Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whimsical-watering-can.md)
