The 'Tubcare' works by being placed in water and illuminating in a few seconds to display the color pertaining to the water temperature. If the water is cold the device will turn blue, if the water is perfect the device will turn green and if the water is too hot it will turn red. This ensures that parents will always be aware of the water temperature and never have to guess if it's going to be too hot or too cold. The 'Tubcare' water thermometer is the design work of Gary Chang. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Babies](https://www.trendhunter.com/babies) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Smart Baby Bath Safety Devices:** The trend is towards smart baby bath safety devices that monitor water temperature. - **Visual Water Temperature Monitors:** A trend towards visual water temperature monitors that rely on color to indicate water temperature is emerging. - **Internet-connected Baby Devices:** The trend towards internet-connected baby devices is leading manufacturers to develop baby bath water monitors. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Baby Products Industry:** Developing visual water temperature monitors can disrupt the baby products industry. - **Smart Home Industry:** Developing smart baby bath safety devices can disrupt the smart home industry. - **Iot Industry:** Developing internet-connected baby devices can disrupt the IoT industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Toy-Like Duck-Inspired Thermometers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ducky-thermometer.md) - [Temperature-Displaying Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invispace.md) - [Digital LED Thermometers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/therm-c.md) - [Infant Bathing Aids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-bath-support.md) - [Developmental Bath Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bath-toy-collection.md) - [Temperature Alert Body Washes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dove-deep-moisture-body-wash.md) - [Dedicated Infant Care Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubtale-care-tracker.md) - [Skin-Soothing Bath Filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canopy-bath-tub-filter.md) - [Contactless Smartphone Thermometers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tempbuddy-smartphone-thermometer.md)
