This ethereal glow can be captured and recreated time and again with the 'Ripple' light design, created as a collaboration by Poetic Lab and Studio Shikai. Sitting like an elongated crystal ball on a counter or tabletop, the [glass lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuloa) already looks like it has mystical qualities to it. Turn it on and watch the [rippled light cascade](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cairn-lamp) across the walls, filling the room with a fluid and continuous motion that is both soothing and spiritual. The water reflection effect of the 'Ripple' light is electrifying. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Effervescent Lighting:** The 'Ripple' light design captures and recreates the mesmerizing water reflection effect, creating a soothing and spiritual atmosphere. - **Collaborative Design:** The collaboration between Poetic Lab and Studio Shikai brings together diverse ideas and expertise to create innovative lighting solutions. - **Mystical Aesthetics:** The ethereal and magical qualities of the 'Ripple' light design tap into the growing demand for unique and aesthetic lighting fixtures. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Effervescent lighting designs like the 'Ripple' light offer disruptive innovation opportunities for the home decor industry, enhancing the ambiance of living spaces. - **Hospitality:** Hotels, restaurants, and event venues can leverage the mesmerizing water reflection effect of lights like 'Ripple' to create captivating and immersive guest experiences. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate effervescent lighting solutions into their projects, providing clients with visually stunning and enchanting spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Poetic Rippling Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yurameki.md) - [Rippling Aquatic Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pulse-lights.md) - [Dreamlike Bubble-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airshape-lamp.md) - [Emotional Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miror-collection.md) - [Dazzling Gradient Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb.md) - [Synergy-Inspired Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doppler-series.md) - [Candy-Colored Glass Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wave-ii.md) - [Relaxing Optical Illusion Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/novatropes.md) - [Calming Orb Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orb-lamp1.md)
