The 'Wuxi Grand Theater' won the 2013 Architizer A+ Jury Award in the architecture and weather category. The stunning design features a [butterfly-like roof](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suzhou-museum-of-contemporary-art) with eight enormous steel wings that stretch out from the platform. These wings protect the building from sunlight and they shelter the interior from heat; they also harvest rainwater. At night, the building is illuminated by thousands of [color-changing LED lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-court-theatre) that can be programmed depending on the different performances that are being held inside.
