It is located on a hillside above Shuangyue Bay near Huizhou City in China's Guangdong Province. The [White Drop Library](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miyue-blue-and-white-island-pool-homestay) was designed by Chinese studio [3andwich Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blue-insight-cave-space) who embraced a minimalist white palette with modernist sensibilities. The building contains two distinct parts, including a circular structure that connects to a long white wall. The books are located in the circular volume, slotted in shelving that is integrated into the internal wall. 3andwich Design installed floor-to-ceiling windows, as well, to reveal breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the sea. The building is also topped with a circular pool, which is rather unexpected for an establishment of this type.
