# Water Bottle to Baby Bottle Adapter By Going Like Sixty | Published 2006-12-08 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-bottle-to-baby-bottle-adapter References: [babysportonline](http://www.babysportonline.com) Here's a new product that just makes you want to slap yourself. It's an adapter to attach a [baby bottle nipple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flow-nipple-shield) to any water bottle with a screw type opening. It was invented by the host of "Cheaters", Tommy Habeeb. “I was inspired to develop the Water Bottle Nipple Adaptor when I was out with my children on a hot summer day and my [infant son](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/byheart-anywhere-pack) desperately needed a drink of water,” says Habeeb. “I knew there had to be a way to get him a clean drink of water without having to search for a store that sold baby bottles. Since infants are unable to swallow without using their sucking reflex, my son just seemed to choke while trying to drink from the typical “sport top” water bottles.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 36% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Babies](https://www.trendhunter.com/babies) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Water Bottle Nipple Adaptor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a line of adaptors to attach baby bottle nipples to various types of water bottles, catering to parents who want a convenient and hygienic solution for providing water to their infants. - **Portable Baby Feeding Solutions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop lightweight and portable baby feeding products that allow parents to easily provide drinks and meals to their infants on-the-go. - **Hybrid Baby Bottle Designs:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design baby bottles with interchangeable tops that can be used as a water bottle or a baby bottle, providing a versatile solution for parents. ### Where This Applies - **Baby Product Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a new segment of baby products dedicated to providing convenient and versatile solutions for feeding infants. - **Outdoor Gear and Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate baby-friendly features into outdoor gear and accessories, such as water bottles and backpacks, to cater to parents who enjoy outdoor activities with their infants. - **Food and Beverage Packaging:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with food and beverage packaging companies to develop innovative packaging designs that integrate baby bottle functionality, allowing parents to easily convert standard bottles into baby-friendly containers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Research-Backed Animal-Shaped Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toddler-collection.md) - [Pump-Integrated Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottle-bottle.md) - [Interchangeable Component Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-modular-bottle.md) - [Time-Saving Baby Bottle Washers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-bottle-washer.md) - [Self-Warming Baby Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yoomi-solace.md) - [Baby Essentials Cleaning Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-feeding-essentials.md) - [Reusable Baby Care Product Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goodnest.md) - [Smart-Designed Baby Bottle Warmers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartdesigned-baby-bottle-warmer.md) - [Self-Sterilizing Bottle Warmers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-bottle-warmer.md)
