It is defined by its wooden structure as the lookout is also bat-friendly with a curved cut-out section that brings attention to the spiraled staircase. The team completes the tower to welcome tourists to take in the serene views as they go through the [cycling and walking trails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amager-nature-park). NEXT Architects partner Michel Schreinemachers notes, "This tower is just as much for animals as it is for people. In addition to the view of the surroundings, the [wooden lookout tower](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bird-mammal-shelter) is equipped with summer and winter shelters for bats. We created different levels in the tower to explore and experience the woods on different heights providing views in different directions. The way up became a tour in itself."
