Located in the woodlands of Malinalco, Mexico, the idea and design of this "[tiny house](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vettel-haus)" came as a result of a collaboration between wander, Rojkind Arquitectos, Amasa Estudio and TUUX. Despite its compact size, this [cabin-like structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-nest-cabin) comes equipped with a variety of amazing features including a fully functional kitchen and bathroom. The 'Wander 2.0' even has two levels, keeping the common areas on the ground floor while locating the bedroom on a mezzanine that is enclosed by a six-meter high triangular roof. In addition, the structure was built to withstand varying weather and can be modified to stand in conjunction with other modules. The 'Wander 2.0' definitely presents a viable option for nature-seeking urbanites who wish to engage in a one-of-a-kind camping experience. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 100% | Activity: 98% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Eco Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/ecoarchitecture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Modular Glamping Units:** This trend can be seen as an opportunity for businesses to cater to consumers who want to be close to nature while also enjoying the comforts of home. - **Multi-level Tiny Homes:** This trend presents an opportunity for businesses to create innovative designs for tiny homes, which have become increasingly popular amongst those looking to downsize and embrace minimalistic living. - **Prefab Sustainable Structures:** The rise of prefab structures is an opportunity for businesses specializing in sustainable innovation to create eco-friendly and energy-efficient structures. ### Who This Affects Most - **Hospitality Industry:** The modular glamping units trend is a disruptive innovation opportunity for the hospitality industry, enabling them to create new and unique camping experiences. - **Real Estate Industry:** The creation of modern, multi-level tiny homes presents an opportunity for the real estate industry to disrupt traditional housing models by offering more affordable and sustainable solutions. - **Architecture and Construction Industry:** The prefab sustainable structures trend is an opportunity for the architecture and construction industry to lead the way in sustainable building practices and eco-friendly materials. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Captivating Modern Prefab Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skali-backcountry-cubiod.md) - [Futuristic Modular Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pebl-grand-cabin.md) - [Compact Sustainable Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cabana.md) - [Compact Modular Forest Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-house.md) - [Transparent Birchwood Nature Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immerso-glamping-cabin.md) - [Modular Trailer-Free Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vagabond-haven-evergreen.md) - [Minimalist Stealthy Luxe Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/auto-cabin.md) - [National Park-Inspired Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basecamp-tiny-house.md) - [All-Glass Mesmerizing Compact Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beaufort-bushland-retreat.md)
