# Wall-Mounted Storage Solutions Poul Cadovius Develops the Stunningly Modern Cado System By Kalin Ned | Published 2025-10-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-storage References: [gestaltnewyork](https://www.gestaltnewyork.com/storage2/the-system-cado) The Cado System, originally conceived by Danish designer [Poul](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ph-5) Cadovius, is a wall-mounted storage solution distinguished by its construction entirely from wood. Unlike earlier models that incorporated metal components, the one reimagined by [DK3](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-furniture-design1) utilizes wooden brackets and cabinetry designed to create a visual effect of floating on the wall. The System Cado® wall-mounted storage consists of modular elements such as rails, shelves, and cabinets, which are intended to be combined in various configurations. The design is rooted in mid-century Scandinavian principles that emphasize functional aesthetics and artisanal quality. Consumers would be drawn to this system for its alignment with modern interior design values. Its primary appeal lies in the harmonious blend of timeless aesthetic appeal and practical adaptability — the warm, natural material and clean lines offer a sophisticated look that can complement a wide range of decor.
