The Walljax EZ pluts into a 120-volt outlet and offers a small shelf that's about the right size for a smartphone. The device passes through two regular AC outlets, meaning that there is no loss of functionality when you use the device. It is also equipped with a [USB port](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cable-managements) at the base to take care of your additional charging requirements. The Float device is even more convenient. It is powered by an included USB cable and can be attached to the wall via a non-mark adhesive or indeed by screws. Unlike the Walljax EZ, the Float can be located anywhere that you can get power to, which makes it more versatile. These devices are currently the subject of a [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automotive-wireless-phone-charger) campaign, so there's still time for you to sign up for next-level wireless charging convenience. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 94% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Wireless Charging Solutions:** The Walljax EZ and Float are innovative wireless charging shelves that provide convenience and ease for charging electronic devices. - **Versatile Charging Options:** The Walljax Float offers a more versatile charging solution that can be attached to any wall, providing power wherever it is needed. - **Multi-functional Charging Devices:** The Walljax EZ offers not only wireless charging but also AC outlets and a USB port for additional charging requirements. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Improvement:** The wireless charging shelves can be integrated into home improvement projects, offering a convenient power solution for consumers. - **Retail:** Retail stores can incorporate wireless charging shelves into their displays, enhancing customer experience and providing an extra service. - **Technology:** The wireless charging shelves will drive innovation in the technology industry, creating new possibilities for wireless charging devices and solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tech-Charging Book Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haaase-liesma-bookshelf.md) - [Outlet-Mounted Wireless Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-charging-adapter.md) - [Desk-Compatible Wireless Charger Pads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invisible-charger.md) - [Outlet Transformed Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/powerbug.md) - [Wireless Charging Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freepower.md) - [All-in-One Desktop Tech Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jsd-wireless-charging-system.md) - [Compact Wireless Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-wireless-charger.md) - [Automotive Wireless Phone Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automotive-wireless-phone-charger.md) - [Intelligent Wireless Charging Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carousel-series.md)
