To make these [geometric wall planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter), begin by following a printable cardboard template to make the triangular pods from concrete. Once the concrete has dried after several days, you can paint the triangle planters up in whatever colors best suit your decor. Then, simply arrange the triangular pods into a geometric shape -- like a larger equilateral triangle or a trapezoid -- and mount the pods onto your wall. You can fill each pod with a [different plant](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trader-joes-mini-can-foliage) to add some variety. Remember to place the plants sideways into the pods so that the foliage shows off. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 36% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Modular Wall Planters:** Creating DIY modular wall planters allows for flexibility in design and customization. - **Vertical Gardening:** The rise of vertical gardening offers innovative solutions for adding greenery to limited spaces. - **Customizable Home Decor:** The trend towards customizable home decor opens opportunities for personalized wall planter designs. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can capitalize on the growing demand for modular wall planters. - **DIY and Crafts:** The DIY and crafts industry can provide resources and materials for creating concrete wall planters. - **Gardening and Landscaping:** The gardening and landscaping industry can offer innovative solutions for vertical gardening. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Building Block Wall Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-organizer-and-messfree-planter.md) - [Trellis-Equipped Indoor Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blume-planter.md) - [Building Block Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-planterior.md) - [Artsy Hanging Plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-air-plant-mobile.md) - [Luxurious Minimalist Planter Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-planter-set.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Chic Staggered Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/staggered-planters.md) - [Modular Automated Indoor Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/totam-planter.md) - [Vibrant Dynamic Wall Plant-Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floos.md)
