# Pipe-Like Candle Holders The Frederik Roije Wall of Flame Collection Sticks Out of Your Wall By Gil Cohen | Published 2012-11-21 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-of-flame References: [dezeen](http://www.dezeen.com/2012/11/20/wall-of-flame-candle-holder-by-frederik-roije/) & [roije](http://roije.com/) The wall-mounted candle holder collection designed by Frederik Roije, named Wall of Flame, is streamlined and chic. This collection looks like a series of metal pipes that are coming right out of the walls, as though the ducts and pipelines from within have started to poke out. There are no ornate [wall sconces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barnacle-wall-sconce) or fixing, giving these [candle holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-mater) a simplistic yet stylish look. The pipe-like arms have a bend that keeps the candles upright, and you have the freedom to arrange and group them however you desire along your walls. The powder-coated steel tubes come in black, white and several other muted colors. Bringing back the [candelabra](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woaw-collection-by-nader-gamma) in a new way, the Wall of Flame collection re-imagines the candle holder. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 29% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalist Candle Holders:** Design sleek and simple candle holders that blend seamlessly with modern decor. - **Unconventional Home Accessories:** Create unique and eye-catching home accessories that challenge traditional design norms. - **Customizable Wall Decor:** Develop wall-mounted decor items that can be arranged and customized to fit individual preferences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Explore opportunities to create innovative and stylish home decor products. - **Interior Design:** Introduce disruptive designs that push the boundaries of traditional interior design concepts. - **Modern Furniture:** Incorporate unique and unconventional elements into modern furniture designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fire Connection-Inspired Candleholders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charles-kalpakian-1.md) - [Architectural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/core-candle-holder.md) - [Interestingly Shaped Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poise-candle-holder.md) - [Vertical Tea-Light Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tolo-tea-candle.md) - [Fire-Inspired Artful Candelabras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forge-candelabra.md) - [Vintage-Inspired Candle Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vintageinspired-candle-lamps.md) - [Luxe Refillable Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/les-mondes-de-diptyque.md) - [Modernized Candelabra Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woaw-collection-by-nader-gamma.md) - [Ritual Sculptural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-mater.md)
