Definitely making a statement on the wall, this mirror has an artistic, asymmetrical appeal that would complement other whimsical furnishings and funky home decor items. The protruding [brass arms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/through-chrome-reflections) feature black ceramic knobs in varying shape contortions that simultaneously frame the mirror and give it the appearance of some sort of four-legged creature. The prongs of this wall mirror design by Georges Jouve have bends in them and could potentially double as [wall hooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plus-collection-1) that can be used to hang lightweight items such as toiletries, towels or additional decorative ornaments. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Asymmetrical Mirror Designs:** There is an opportunity for interior design companies to create more quirky and asymmetrical mirror designs for consumers looking for unique decor options. - **Multi-functional Wall Decor:** There is potential for companies to create more decorative wall pieces that can also double as functional items, such as hooks or storage solutions. - **Abstract Prong Designs:** Product designers can explore the use of abstract prong designs in different home decor items, such as lamps or coat racks. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Asymmetrical and quirky mirror designs can be marketed towards consumers looking for unique and bold home decor options. - **Home Decor:** There is an opportunity for companies specializing in home decor to create multi-functional wall pieces that are both decorative and practical. - **Product Design:** Designers can incorporate abstract prong designs in various home decor items, appealing to consumers seeking functional yet visually striking pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Structural Mirror Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bton-brut.md) - [Geometrical Golden Ratio Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ascension-wall-mirror.md) - [Celestial Mirror Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suzanne-oddy.md) - [Wavy Dual-Action Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archvyli.md) - [Sculpturally Artistic Copper Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manu-bano-obj08-mirrors.md) - [Sophisticated Copper Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manu-ba.md) - [Optical Illusion Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hooptical.md) - [Artful Hanging Contemporary Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ready-to-hang.md) - [Stunningly Bold Mirror Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bold-mirror.md)
