The game features a [vertical design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corner-clock) that is suitable for placement on any wall, while the individual pieces each feature their own dedicated areas to be nestled between moves. A turn indicator can be used to let players indicate who took a turn last, which will help players to partake in a game that is played over an extended course of time instead of all at once. The Wall Chess board game is handmade in Huntsville, Alabama and is perfect for adding a playful touch to entryways or kitchens. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Decorative Wall-mounted Games:** The integration of games into home decor allows for convenient and accessible entertainment options for consumers. - **Vertical Board Game Design:** Vertical board game designs offer unique and artistic ways to display and engage with traditional games. - **Extended Gameplay Experiences:** Games designed for extended gameplay experiences create opportunities for immersive and ongoing entertainment. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can explore the incorporation of functional and decorative games as part of their product offerings. - **Handmade Crafts:** Handmade crafts industry can tap into the demand for unique and artistic board game designs. - **Entertainment:** The entertainment industry can develop innovative strategies to create extended and immersive gameplay experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Compact Game Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roll-up-chess-and-checkers-set.md) - [Bookshelf Board Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookshelf-board-game.md) - [Magnetic Portable Chess Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ventureboard.md) - [Intelligent Portable Board Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eifplay.md) - [Ceramic Chess Seating Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-chess.md) - [Republic-Honoring Chess Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chess-set-concept.md) - [Inclusively Designed Chess Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dot-chess.md) - [AI-Powered Chess Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robotic-chess-board.md) - [Flat-Pack Chess Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jigsaw-chess-set.md)
