# Body Wallpaper Wall Blending Artworks Centered on the Female Figure By TrendHead | Published 2009-04-07 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-blending-artworks-the-amazing-wallpaper-landscapes-by-cecilia-paredes References: [artnet](http://www.artnet.com/Artists/ArtistHomePage.aspx?artist_id=13071&page_tab=Artworks) & [ceciliaparedes](http://www.ceciliaparedes.com/) The art of Peruvian designier Cecilia Paredes is wonderfully inspiring. These amazing pictures of wall-blending female bodies that look like they are about to disappear into the [flower patterned wallpaper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shells-shimmer-seafoam) belong to her finer works. Much of this talented Lima-born artist’s work is centered around the [female body](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miley-cyrus-maison-margiela). I love these wallpaper portraits of women’s backs which blends in with the [flower painted walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/borealis-series). As an artist, Cecilia Paredes is interested in using art to explore the limits of nature. In her photography she often uses her own body as a canvas to start a dialog between the spirit and the natural world. Very intriguing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Blended Artwork:** Blending art with everyday objects to create a unique visual experience. - **Body as a Canvas:** Using the body as a medium for artistic expression in both traditional and unconventional ways. - **Naturalist Photography:** Exploring the relationship between humans and nature through photography and visual art. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** Pioneering new techniques and mediums to create stunning works of art. - **Photography:** Capturing the beauty and complexity of the human form and nature through skillful photography. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating art in unique ways to elevate the visual experience of interior spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artist-Approved Intricate Wallpaper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/printed-decors.md) - [Graphic Wallpaper Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immersive-surfaces.md) - [Human Embraced-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-sculpture.md) - [Statement Wall Covering Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/el-muro.md) - [Painting-Inspired Wallpaper Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portals-collection.md) - [Artist-Designed Wallpaper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallpaper-collection1.md) - [Hand-Painted Wallpaper Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sylvan.md) - [Body Artwork-Inspired Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/body-tattoo.md) - [Fashionable Wall Coverings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fashionable-wall-coverings.md)
