Imagine if [every piece of furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moving-furniture) in the house were as mobile as the Walking Table. The world would be a lighter place. Check out the video above to see the Walking Table in action. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 74% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Autonomous-furniture:** The trend of autonomous furniture presents an opportunity for designers to create innovative pieces that can move and adapt to different spaces. - **Smart-home-mobility:** The increasing demand for smart home furniture with mobility features opens up possibilities for companies to develop automated and self-propelled tables and other furniture. - **Mobile-interior-design:** The concept of mobile interior design allows for the creation of flexible and transformative living spaces by incorporating furniture designs like the Walking Table. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture-manufacturing:** The furniture manufacturing industry has the opportunity to create and market autonomous furniture designs like the Walking Table to cater to the growing demand for innovative and mobile pieces. - **Smart-home-technology:** The smart home technology industry can capitalize on the trend by developing advanced furniture mobility systems that seamlessly integrate with other smart home devices and provide enhanced convenience for users. - **Interior-design-services:** Interior design companies can incorporate the concept of mobile interior design in their services to offer clients transformative living spaces with furniture designs that can move and adapt to different needs and preferences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Moveable Wave-Inspired Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/side-table-concept.md) - [Dynamic Sculptural Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-transformation-table.md) - [Rolled-Up Wooden Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sofan.md) - [Industrial Shapeshifting Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jointable.md) - [Multifuntional Modular Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-transformer-table.md) - [Wheel-Free Assisted Mobility Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toyota-walk-me.md) - [Modular Rotating Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/finding-turn-point.md) - [Spinning Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-spinning-coffee-table.md) - [Kinetic Artful Sand Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arrakis-30.md)
