# Wake Up Collaborating Apps The Wake Up with the World App Lets People Share the Event By Michael Baxter | Published 2014-04-15 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wake-up References: [psfk](http://www.psfk.com/2014/04/global-wake-up-alarm-clock.html) & [ericrieper](http://ericrieper.com/wakeupwiththeworld) Wake Up with the World is making the act of waking up in the morning a little bit more bearable by making it a collaborative experience. The alarm clock/app works by making each person an instrument that builds a melody over time to help make waking up easier. As more people wake up, more sounds are added to the composition. Over time this creates a giant melody that also increases in tempo over time. The app is interesting because from day to day the music that one wakes up to will change depending on how many people are waking up and when they’re waking up. Waking up in the morning can be difficult, but it becomes easier when you know other people are too. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.3/10 - Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Phone Charger Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-alarm-clock.md) - [Sunrise-Simulating Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-wakeup-light.md) - [Illuminated Dry-Erase Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/written-reminder-alarm-clock.md) - [Instant Photo Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creative-alarm-clock.md) - [Compact Multi-Purpose Smartwatches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multi-purpose-smartwatches.md) - [Curvaceous Fitness Bands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-gear-fit.md) - [Versatile Smartphone Bases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartphone-bases.md) - [Wall-Cast Digital Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumo-projection-alarm-clock.md) - [Wireless Wooden Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-speakers.md)
