At bed time the lamp softens to a [warm glow, folds its petals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pavo), and turns itself off. In the morning the [lamp blooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloome), [gradually increasing light like the sunrise](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wake-lamp). The LuLL is made for GiForm and recently won an industrial design competition in Norway. Unfortunately for us, most of the information about the LuLL lamp is in Norwegian. Let's hope this makes a splash in Europe so we can get more details! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Smart Lighting:** The LuLL lamp's innovative design presents opportunities to add smart features, like voice control and mobile app integration, to create personalized lighting experiences for users. - **Biophilic Design:** The LuLL lamp's nature-inspired design and movement mimic the bloom and fold of a flower, presenting opportunities for interior design and architecture industries to incorporate biophilic design principles in their work. - **Circadian Lighting:** The LuLL lamp's ability to mimic the sun's natural light cycle presents opportunities for the lighting industry to develop more circadian lighting options that support the natural sleep-wake cycle. ### Who This Affects Most - **Lighting:** The LuLL lamp's unique design and functionality create opportunities for the lighting industry to innovate in the areas of smart and circadian lighting. - **Interior Design:** The LuLL lamp's nature-inspired design and movement presents opportunities for interior designers to create spaces that incorporate biophilic design principles. - **Industrial Design:** The LuLL lamp's award-winning design presents opportunities for industrial designers to create products that combine functional and aesthetic features inspired by nature. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Aroma Diffuser Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-lotus-lamp.md) - [Miniature Portable Ambiant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blossi.md) - [Minimal Wake-Aware Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wake-sleep-light.md) - [Flower-Like Portable Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tulit-led-lantern.md) - [Naturalistic Biophilic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bioo-lamp.md) - [Adjustable Sculptural Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ovo-lamp.md) - [Compact Elaborate LED Smart-Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cup-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Glass Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuloa.md) - [Soothing Speaker-Equipped Night Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lullaby-talk.md)
