Since the mountain setting surrounding the hotel could be described as simplistic and naturally beautiful, the hotels interior was made to look like a futuristic, luxurious paradise. Each room in this remote ski resort seems to be illuminated by colored neon lights, some of which are red and some of which are blue. The light fixtures featured in this hotel are extraordinary. They’re all different shapes and sizes, but each design is extremely modern and eye-catching. The lobby of this striking ski resort features concrete steps, which are littered with comfy white couches and throw pillows, allowing guests to stop and rest upon arrival or departure. The W Hotel is extravagant and flashy. It promises to provide guests with an exceptional vacation experience. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Futuristic Interior Design:** Creating interior spaces with futuristic and luxurious elements to provide a unique and visually striking experience. - **Innovative Lighting Fixtures:** Designing and incorporating extraordinary and modern light fixtures that enhance the ambiance of a space. - **Luxury Experience Contrasting Natural Surroundings:** Creating luxurious accommodations and amenities in remote or naturally beautiful locations to offer a contrasting vacation experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts can incorporate futuristic interior design and innovative lighting fixtures to offer guests a unique and luxurious experience. - **Interior Design:** Designers can explore the concept of futuristic interior design by creating visually striking spaces with modern elements. - **Lighting Fixtures:** Manufacturers and designers of lighting fixtures can focus on creating extraordinary and eye-catching designs to meet the demand for innovative lighting options in various settings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Contemporary Ski Home Projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/traditional-ski-chalet.md) - [Mountainous Holiday Ski Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/not-a-hotel-rusutsu.md) - [Modern Mountain Lodges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/usm.md) - [Zenith Retreat Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/not-a-hotel-1.md) - [Modern Functionalist-Style Tuscan Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/w-florence.md) - [Luxury Branded Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/post-hotel-residences.md) - [Ski Resort Crystalline Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trojena-ski-resort.md) - [Mansion-Topped Surreal Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marison-heler.md) - [Chalet-Inspired Showrooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gstaad-house.md)
